Project 6: Final Submission

  1. Hey Ridge, I can see a lot of improvement in your work from beginning to the end for project 6. there is a lot more dynamic shots especially the last one outside what looks like the football field. I also like how we see beginning to end of the creation of the go-cart. It gives us a conclusion throughout the project. For critiques, I only have one main one. First, try shooting with a mobile light source. I the first 8 pictures here, they're all in the same amount of light. If you use a mobile light source with the light off or dimmed they could create interesting pictures. for another idea is doing more close ups on the go-cart and if its working you could pan the camera for one.

  2. Hi Reed!

As always, your images look great. I just wanted to say I have really enjoyed viewing your images and creativity this entire semester. To start off I'm gonna talk about your final photo. I love the composition of it and how the vehicle is all put together and you even have a person in it. I also love how it's on campus! I do think that it is just a bit grainy and the light at the top kinda distracts the viewer's eye from the actual subject of the image but other than that great photo!! I really love the second to last photo as well. I think the POV is nice and different. Also, in the very first photo I think the reflection looks nice and adds a cool element to the entire photo. The last critique I have is your third photo. I think the POV is very nice and looks great up close. I do think the brightness in the bottom left corner is just a bit distracting but other than that it looks great to me. I also like the texture created in that photo and the movement of the scissors. Great job!
